Gas safety and auditing courses at Gas Utilisation 2017

We will be exhibiting at at IGEM's Gas Utilisation conference on Wednesday 20th September 2017, at The Slate Conference Centre on the Warwick University campus.

The conference, dedicated to those working in the utilisation sector of the gas industry, is entitled Compliance - A Changing Landscape. It focuses on a number recent developments pertinent to gas professionals. Changes they need to take on board, in order to remain compliant. We’'ll be promoting our Gas Safety Management courses and two excellent new courses we have developed on Gas Auditing. It's the perfect opportunity to meet and talk about your training requirements.

Our Gas Safety Management courses are aimed at staff in charge of gas safety in a range of sectors, including social housing, commercial and catering applications.

Our new GasAuditing qualifications developed in consultation with businesses working in the sector, offer the highest level of training in gas auditing and are only available through Logic Certification approved centres throughout the UK.

LCL Level 3 Award in Auditing of Gas WorkThis qualification equips candidates with the knowledge to plan for and conduct audits. To identify incorrect, incomplete and unsafe work, understand current legislation and standards, and compile detailed reports following an audit.

LCL Level 3 Award in Auditing of a Gas Business's Work Management Procedures: This qualification covers the same areas as the Level 3 Award in Auditing of Gas Work and focuses on how these apply to an individual business' working practices. It looks at matters relating to staffing, including the procedure for recruiting gas operatives and how to monitor their performance. The qualification also covers the requirements for safety, training, qualifications and work allocation, covering both direct employees and sub-contractors.

The conference runs from 9.30 until 4pm on Wednesdy 20th September at The Slate Conference Centre, Scarman Road, University of Warwick, Coventry, CV4 7SH. It is free to attend and tickets can be booked here.
